Grey hair gets Vikram Bhatt the role in Bhaag Johnny

Just the other day, we had reported that director Vikram Bhatt was to play a role in Shivam Nair’s Bhaag Johnny. Now, the director himself has gone on record to say that he lacks the acting acumen but it was because of his grey hair that he got to play a genie in Bhaag Johnny. Known to have a fondness for directing thrillers and horror films, the noted director will be facing the camera for the first time in his career. Though Bhatt was not keen on acting, but it was the pressure of director Nair that managed to convince him to play the interesting character. "I think my white hair got me the role as to me acting is boring because you have to sit for a long time," Bhatt admitted. "It is a spiritual thriller...It is about a genie who gives the hero a boon who can live two lives. In one he can murder and in other he cannot murder. I am the person who gives him the boon," he added. Incidentally, Vikram is also co-producing the film with Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. The film stars Kunal Khemu in the lead.
