Exclusive! “Yes, I got the offer from Bigg Boss but things didn’t work out and I know someday I will do the show and I can assure you that I will win the show” - Shagun Pandey

MUMBAI : Shagun Pandey is one of the most loved actors of television. He began his career with the serial Santoshi Maa as Guddu Parihar.

He is known for portraying Atharv Bapat in Tujhse Hai Raabta and Uday Kishore Sahani in Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye.

The actor was also a part of the MTV Splitsvilla Season 11.

Currently, he is ruling television with his performance in Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet, where he is essaying the character of Meet Ahlawat.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him if he would ever do Bigg Boss and who is his favourite contestant on the show.

Are you following Bigg Boss 16?

Yes, I am following the current season and it’s quite interesting as there is lot of content that the housemates are giving.

Who is your favourite contestant in the show?

No one is my favourite contestant as no one has the potential to be anyone’s favourite. I was happy that Sumbul was going into the house, but then now her game has fallen down. I really thought Imlie being the USP of Sumbul, and the way she came confidently on the first episode, I thought she would go a long way. I thought after Fahmaan coming into the show she would have got some support and positivity, but all in vain.

The problem is that everyone is trying to be like late actor Siddarth Shukla, Gautam Gulati, Prince Narula, Shehnaaz Gill, or even Gauahar Khan, who have been legends on the show. So if you try and copy them, then where is your individuality in the game.

There were news doing the rounds that you were offered the show Bigg Boss 16?

To be honest, I was in talks with the makers of the show some months back, but things didn’t work out. But I can promise and assure one thing that if I ever do the show then I will entertain the audience, and will definitely take the trophy home. I know it will happen one day, and I assure you, I will be the winner of the show.

Well, there is no doubt that Shagun will be a good player in the game, and he has the potential to be the winner of the show.
