MUMBAI : Actor Sahil Uppal, known for his charm and versatility, has delighted audiences in Sun Neo's much-talked-about show Saajha Sindoor. Despite his busy schedule in the television industry, Sahil ensures he carves out quality time for himself and his loved ones. Recently, he delighted fans by sharing glimpses of his enchanting vacation in Turkey with his wife.
Reflecting on the experience, Sahil shared, "My wife and I had been planning this trip for quite some time, as our work schedules kept us both on our toes. When we finally got a window, Turkey seemed like the perfect destination. We were thrilled to explore a new country and spend meaningful time together. The trip was a blend of fun, discovery, and unforgettable moments, making it truly special."
He added, "The most breathtaking part of the trip was Turkey's stunning landscapes. Every view felt like it was straight out of a painting - mesmerizing. Being a foodie, I was eager to try their renowned cuisine. From authentic Turkish coffee to their unique bread varieties, and dishes cooked in earthen pots, every bite was a treat! By the end of the trip, though, I found myself longing for some good old homemade food."
Reminiscing further, Sahil spoke about his love for travel, saying, "During my college days, I often went on trips with friends. Each adventure has its unique memories - treks, water activities, and the ultimate thrill of skydiving, which remains one of my most cherished experiences."
In Saajha Sindoor, Sahil essays the role of Gagan, the stepson of Saroj (played by Sangita Ghosh). His on-screen persona mirrors aspects of his real-life personality, making his portrayal all the more relatable. The show narrates the heart-wrenching journey of Phooli (played by Stuti Vinkle), a young woman who becomes an unmarried widow after the tragic death of her groom.
