MUMBAI : In 2022, many Hindi dubbed versions of South films have done very well at the box office. Mostly, the Hindi version of all the films were released on the same day, but the makers of Kantara did something different.
Kannada film Kantara was released on 30th September 2022. The film received a great response, and that’s why the makers decided to dub and release it in other languages. On 14th October 2022, the film was released in Hindi, and it got a great response. It went on to collect Rs. 79.25 crores at the box office which is much higher than many Bollywood biggies that were released this year.

Telugu film HIT: The Second Case was released on 2nd December 2022. The makers had earlier announced that they will release the film’s Hindi version later. The Telugu version has become a super hit at the box office, and now, today, it has been announced that the Hindi version of Hit 2 will release on 30th December 2022.
So, it will be interesting to see whether Hit 2 will get the same response as Kantara or not.
Meanwhile, Hit 2 in Hindi will be clashing with Nayanthara’s Connect. While the Tamil and Telugu versions of Connect will release on 22nd December 2022, the Hindi version of the Nayanthara starrer will hit the big screens on 30th December 2022.
So, let’s wait and watch what response the Hindi versions of Connect and Hit 2 will get at the box office.
