Audience perspective: Why is Udaariyaan repeating the same things that Tejo and Jasmine went through, have they run out of ideas?

But it looks like the show is going to repeat the fate of Tejo and Fateh and they have even run out of new ideas of where to take Nehmat’s story.
Audience perspective: Why is Udaariyaan repeating the same things that Tejo and Jasmine went through, have they run out of ideas

MUMBAI: Udaariyaan is an Indian television drama series that airs on Colors TV. There will be some intriguing turns and turns in the next episode.
After a 16-year leap, the show focuses and revolves around the love triangle between Nehmat, Ekam, and Naaz and now a new entrant Advait. The show has a huge fan base and fans are always curious to know what is happening on the show.

But it looks like the show is going to repeat the fate of Tejo and Fateh and they have even run out of new ideas of where to take Nehmat’s story.

It was Jasmine’s entry into the show that brought a little life to the show but do the makers expect us to believe that the Nehmat and Ekam are not endgames? We know that despite all the changes and ups and downs, they will end up together.

So fans feel the idea that somehow if they keep dragging Fateh and Tejo's names into the show, it will still do the magic it did before but chances are very slim. Recently the whole exposè about Nehmat not being Fateh and Tejo’s real daughter brought up a lot of drama and it has been harping on the same thing. But what frustrates the loyal audiences that have watched the show is the fact they are repeating the same storyline. Before the leap when we saw Teju Fateh and Jasmine had all got into an accident,  and then chaos ensued.  something similar is happening with Nehmat, Ekam, and Advait so why would audiences want to watch the same thing with a different cast when there is no difference in the storyline?

A generation leap promises a chance to watch new stories, and new characters develop and create a Legacy of their own but it looks like the show only survives on the backbone of old stories old characters, and old legacy.

Nidhi Sarna says, “If Udaariyaan wants to keep getting viewers engaged, they will have to do something more than just tell the same story.”

Ridhi Singh says “Why are you repeating storylines when you have a loyal audience who are aware of what has happened in the show before the leap”.

Drishti Sharma says “ Udaariyaan has lost the charm, why did they continue the show after Fatejo’s death, it was a good way to end the show”.

Shalini Prasad says “Do they not get new actors, Why is Isha Malviya playing a double role, and what is this similar storyline”.

Nainika Jain says, “The show would have been fine if it ended after the lead couples’ death, now it just feels unnecessary and it was a good way to end the show on a high”.
