MUMBAI : Sherdil Shergill is the new show on the block by Colors, starring Surbhi Chandna and Dheeraj in lead roles.
The show tells the tale of Manmeet Shergill, an odd but determined lady, as she matures and makes some odd choices that alter her course in life forever. Despite her youth, she is ambitious and hopes to distinguish herself in the traditionally male-dominated profession of architecture. A wonderful love story begins when Manmeet meets Rajkumar Yadav, a carefree young man, by coincidence.
Surbhi Chandna and Dheeraj Dhoopar are two of the biggest names in television who have come together for the first time in this romantic comedy show for Colors.

Previously, we saw how Manmeet’s actions will once again change people’s thought process.
A cook in the house will point out certain tasks and label it with gender, saying that such tasks are only for women.
Manmeet will overhear this and decide to make a change.
Later, Manmeet takes all the ladies of the house to her office and introduces them to her mother-in-law, the owner of the company.
She will later give various tasks to each and every woman, giving them the confidence needed and telling them that they need to stand up for themselves.
On the other hand, the men in the house see their progress, and while some will be happy with it, they will also have an awkward moment of acceptance.
Now, we bring you the exclusive update that in the upcoming episodes, Manmeet will get arrested.
Manmeet will take her sister-in-law to the doctor to get checked whether she is having a girl or a boy, which is an illegal act in India. This prompts the doctor to get the police involved in the situation.
What raises further doubts is the fact that Manmeet had signed a check for twenty five thousand rupees, which raises red flags as, had it been a normal or a routine check she would not have given this much money.
Manmeet will be arrested for trying to find out the gender of the baby, and it will be insulated that she will have done so illegally.
