Jhanak Shukla rose to fame as a child artist in the popular TV show Karishma Kaa Karishma. Next, she was seen in Karan Johar's movie Kal Ho Naa Ho, where she played the role of Preity Zinta's sister.
The new year brings in new joys, Jhanak Shukla, is engaged to her boyfriend Swapnil Suryawanshi, and Shetty and her mom Supriya both took to Instagram to share pictures from the Roka ceremony.
Jhanak’s mother and actor Supriya Shukla spoke to TellyChakkar and had this to say about the engagement to the fans, she said, “A big thank you to all. My daughter, Jhanak who has acted in films like Kal ho Na Ho and who also did the popular show ‘Karishma Ka Karishma’ as the titular character is engaged. We posted pictures on social media. There were love and blessings for her and our families and it just kept pouring in. And talking about Swapnil, the boy is a mechanical engineer and he has completed his MBA as well he is such a lovely boy, and we are grateful to God. Jhanak is going for her 3rd Master's in Ireland and she leaves in 10 days this was the best thing that could have happened and we are grateful for the love”.
