If sources are to be believed then Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki will bid adieu to the television on the 2nd October and the show that will fill in the vacuum is none other than Balaji’s Kasturi. And Kasturi will be replaced with Rajan Shahi’s new show which is a love story.
A source from the channel says, “Earlier the new show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut was to replace Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. But Star doesn’t want to take any chances by lunching its new show competing with the high profile 'Bigg Boss 2' that airs at 10:00 pm. That is why the channel has amended its plans and now Rajan’s second show will air at 9:30 pm andKasturi will replaceKahaani as it has its loyal audience. Rajan’s new show is slated to go on floors from 24 August.”
Another source from the sets of Kasturi says, “I have also heard this but I have not been told officially.”
When contacted Rajan Shahi said, “I don’t know about the slot and I don’t care which slot it airs in. I am more worried about the shooting of the show. I haven’t asked the channel. I would be happy with whatever slot they position my new show in.”
Nivedita Basu, Creative Head Balaji, said, “I don’t know anything about this. We haven’t got anything from the channel as yet.”
Keertan Adyanthaya, Star Plus G.M. denied the rumours and said, “No, its not true.”
With speculations rife we too wonder which show will pay the price to accommodate a new show. Keep watching this spa
