Kahaani
If sources are to be believed then Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki will bid adieu to the television on the 2nd October and the show that will fill in the vacuum is none other than Balaji’s Kasturi. And Kasturi will be replaced with Rajan Shahi’s new show which is a love story.

Balaji Telefilms Ltd. which is known to make never-ending shows like Kyunki and Kahaani (www.tellychakkar.com) are planning to pull off another show after Kasauti Zindagi Kay. Khwaish on Sony will soon be laid to rest. The show was launched with much fan fare in July, 2007.
Though the rumours of the show being pulled off were doing the rounds for a couple of months it has only now been confirmed. Sources tell us that it is due to the low TRPs that the production house is forced to pull the show off.

Once upon a time Shweta Kwaatra was pegged as Ekta Kapoor's lucky mascot. She played Esha in Sony's Kkusum and as Pallavi in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, the actor mesmerized the telly junta with her vampish charm. Who can forget her freeze frame evil act with flared nostrils, arched eyebrows, coupled with a wicked nasal laugh, as she around making life hell for Parvati bhabhi.

On 26 July Balalji telefilms lost a piece of its own history.
Images of jwellery laden Parvati in her heavily embroidered lehenga, will keep reminding the team of what they have lost forever. Perhaps the most nostalgic would be Nim Sood, who has designed them.
"We have lost all the costume and the jwellery that we had used for the shoot in Jodhpur and it's a pity. You know I won't be able to use them again. They were really special," says Nim, who has been the resident designer for Balaji shows.

The long suffering Karan played by Hiten Tejwani of Kyuni…has a reason to smile as he leads in the favourite beta category with over 73%. The naughty girl Shruti of Kahaani... who has grownup to be a dainty lady leads with 53% as favourite beti.
