MUMBAI: SAB TV is out with an amazing show by Peninsula Pictures, Alibaba - Dastaan-E-Kabul. The show is inspired by the popular story of Alibaba and the forty thieves and has enough buzz around it. Recently, Abhishek Nigam reprised the lead role of Alibaba on the show.
The premise of the show is simple, and so far, the story that we have been told is that in the Mamuli Gali of Kabul, Ali Baba lives with five orphans, Gulrez, Himaad, Poya, Nafi, and Alifi. Despite being poor, Ali Baba is a very good person at heart who is unaware of his destiny and talent.

Previously, a marid in the forest removes Simsim from her imprisonment. He plans on attacking Ali and Marjina while they are in the forest.
Later, Ali and Marjina try to enter SimSim’s forest. She vows to make Marjina kill Ali.
Simsim tortures Ali and finally comes to know that Kotwal is the real Ali.
Ali and Marjina’s lives are in danger as Simsim is trying her best to destroy them.
Later, Simsim promises Iblis that she will get hold of Talisman no matter what. She then injures the chota Kotwal and captures Alifi. The chota kotwal returns to Parwaz greatly injured and tells Ali that SimSim has kidnapped the children.
Now, soldiers catch Ali and Marjina while they sneak into the palace. Marjina is recognised by the soldiers as their princess.
