MUMBAI : Sonakshi Sinha is all set to make her web series debut with Dahaad. Today, a trailer launch event was organised in Mumbai and it was attended by the cast and crew including Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Devaiah, Vijay Varma, Sohum Shah, Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar, and others.
The trailer is getting a good response, and Sonakshi, Vijay, Gulshan, and Sohum’s performance in it is being appreciated. While the trailer has grabbed everyone’s attention, there’s something that has also grabbed our attention.

Dahaad has a Salman Khan connection and no, it is not related to his Dabangg co-star Sonakshi. There’s a connection between Salman and Gulshan. So, Gulshan’s character’s name in Dahaad is Devi Lal Singh, and now if you are a movie buff and a Salman Khan fan, you will remember that Devi Lal Singh was Salman’s character name in Kick.

So, yes that’s a Salman Khan connection that we have in Dahaad. By the way, the short form of Devi Lal Singh in Kick was Devil. We wonder if there will also be suspense in Dahaad that the actual villain or the Devil is Gulshan. Let’s wait and watch.
Dahaad is directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, and it will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 12th May 2023. The web series has been in the making for the past couple of years, and Sona’s fans have been waiting for it.
