MUMBAI: COLORS' new magnum opus show, ‘Shiv Shakti - Tap Tyaag Taandav’ delves into the first love story of the universe, exploring the journey of lord Shiva and goddess Parvati’s love, duty, sacrifice, and separation that translates into tap, tyaag, and Taandav.
Created and produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Swastik Productions, the show stars popular actors Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput in the lead roles of Shiv and Shakti respectively.
The show has received an overwhelmingly great response and fans have taken to the show almost immediately; its success has raised a question of how the show has managed to win over the audiences.

In the upcoming episodes, Tarkasur’s greed for power leads to the downfall of the Devtas residing in Swarg Lok.
On the other hand, Lord Vishnu plans to send a tiger on Devi Parvati’s path as running away from him would lead her to Lord Shiv.
Meanwhile, Devi Parvati decides to leave the palace to create a Shivling, but Lord Shiv intentionally places obstacles in her path to prevent her from doing so.
Later, Queen Mainavati, concerned for Devi Parvati's well-being, persuades her to consider marrying Vindhyak. Goddess Ganga rushes to Devi Parvati to remind her of her destiny with Lord Shiv, but Queen Mainavati starts the preparations for her marriage to Vindhyak.
