RIP! Malayalam Actor Kundara Johny passes away at 71 due to cardiac arrest in Kerala

MUMBAI: Actor Kundara Johny passed away at a Kollam, Kerala, private hospital on Tuesday, October 17. He was 71 years old. Johny reportedly experienced a cardiac arrest and was afterward brought to a hospital. Meppadiyan, his most recent film, came out in 2022. His followers have been expressing their sympathies on social media.

Kundara Johny was one of the well-known actors who became well-known for playing antagonist roles in Malayalam films. Johny was admitted to a private hospital on October 17 after experiencing cardiac arrest. At the hospital, he passed away. We're currently waiting for more information about his funeral.

Kerala Finance Minister K N Balagopal expressed sorrow on the actor's passing and noted that Johny appeared in more than 500 movies throughout the course of his more than four-decade-long career. At the age of 23, Johny made his acting debut in the 1979 Malayalam film Nithya Vasantham as a character who was 55 years old.

Kundara Johny started out with a number of uncredited roles in Malayalam cinema. He debuted in 1979 when he was in his 20s. He received acclaim for his performances in the films 'Agniparvatham,' 'Nithya Vasantham,' 'Rajavinte Makan,' and 'Aavanazhi.' Johny married Stella, a professor of Hindi at Fatima Mata National College in Kollam.
