MUMBAI: With the exception of Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif is a person without many controversies to her name. However, there was a moment when she felt a strong connection to Malaika Arora. They did not enjoy each other's company in general, even though they had never shared a platform. That's what the old rumour says, anyway.

They reportedly apparently went public with their quarrel after Kat could no longer contain her laughter at Malla's business ambitions. However, what had begun as a light-hearted joke quickly turned into insults, and there was a severe backlash.
There was no fallout between Malaika Arora and Katrina Kaif as claimed. Actually, it was between Malla and Alvira Agnihotri, her sister-in-law at the time. This entire incident took place at Alvira's party.
Katrina Kaif and Malaika Arora have reportedly given each other the cold shoulder since their modeling days, according to a Popular news portal. However, it's interesting to note that after Kat got too close to Malla's then-brother-in-law Salman Khan, they frequently had to share parties.
The Tiger 3 actress and Malaika first met at a gathering hosted by Alvira Agnihotri, the sister of Khan. A popular news portal cited sources that disclosed, “Katrina apparently made fun of Malaika’s fashion label and even called it ‘copied’.”
When Malaika learned about this alleged ridiculing session, she made the decision not to confront Kat because she was an outsider. Instead, Alvira Agnihotri was allegedly questioned by Malaika Arora regarding Kat's attendance at that event. In the previous report, “This (mocking) obviously didn’t go down well with Malaika, who got into an argument with Alvira over why Katrina was even invited to the party in the first place.”
This rumor appeared out of nowhere and was quickly dismissed, just like all other rumors and gossip. By the way, Arjun Kapoor has admitted that Katrina Kaif is his rakhi sister, and it's interesting to note that Arjun is dating Malaika Arora. The two divas appear to be destined by fate to be close to one another for whatever reason!
