Paras Singh Minhas is a 'fitness freak' in real life

Paras Singh Minhas
Actor Paras Singh Minhas – who plays the antagonist Randeep Singh (brother of Parmeet essayed by Gaurav Chaudhary) in Colors’ Bani – Ishq Da Kalma (Mystic – An Entertainment Company and Colosceum Media Pvt. Ltd – shares his love for fitness and the mantra he follows to keep himself fit during the tiring shooting schedule. Paras in a hearty chat with Tellychakkar.com revealed that as Bani is a daily soap it is very difficult to take time out for work-outs, but since that is his second love post his profession of acting, he somehow manages to steal time. The actor said, “My workouts are usually one and half hours long. When I do strength training I concentrate on two body parts – biceps, triceps, legs, back or shoulders. I do dips, pull-ups and parallel every day! From my school days I have loved sports and have been an athlete, so that’s how over the years I have managed to build strength and stamina that I have today.” Besides the workout we asked Paras if there is any diet that he follows and he averred, “The most important thing is what you eat. I avoid junk food. I eat four times a day, especially food like meats, veggies and fruits and I get majority of good carbs from pulses. I eat lots of protein (chicken, egg whites and fish) which are absolutely essential to repair muscle damage. I do take Protein Shake after my workout because it is very important to repair the muscle.” Paras further added that his diet does vary during busy days, “During my busy schedule I eat healthy and do dips, pull ups, sit ups as going to the gym becomes difficult. I keep munching all the time and never keep myself hungry, because that’s when your body gives up and you feel lethargic and lazy. Hence I make it a point to keep munching on protein bars and protein biscuits.” Way to go, Paras!!!
