MUMBAI: Indian actor Sikandar Kher, who made his acting debut with the film, ‘Woodstock Villa’ has been impressing the audience over the years with his performance in movies like Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Players, Aurangzeb, Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive, The Zoya Factor and many more.
The actor is recognized for his role in the Indian crime drama series, Aarya. Sikandar Kher has also been a part of Sense8, an American science fiction show in 2017. Soon the actor will also be seen in another American movie ‘Monkey Man’.

With the release of Aarya season 3, we got to see Sikandar Kher once again and we must say, he never fails to impress us. In an exclusive interaction with Tellychakkar, Sikandar Kher opened up about what has the character of Daulat given to him, his experience working with Sushmita Sen and much more.
What has the character of Daulat given to him?
To this, Sikandar Kher said that this was his first outing as a character which was ‘successful’, not knowing how ‘Hit’ feels like and that he was getting a lot of calls from people who were all appreciating his role and the series and it felt great. He added that Aarya and Ram have given him a lot, he has given it a lot and a lot of people have been loving the character of Daulat which is encouraging and a blessing. He also added that he got to meet good people, make new friends, got to learn from Ram and Amita, a lot of cast and crew became his good friends, which Aarya very special for him.
When you were approached for the character in season one, what was your initial reaction and what made him say ‘Yes’?
To this, Sikandar Kher talked about the casting of the movie and how Abhimanyu casted him for the role saying that he would want Sikandar to be a part of this show and he should test for it. Sikandar mentioned how good Abhimanyu is at his work even though he is a little different with how he works and that he felt Sikandar was correct for this part. The actor added that after getting the script, he loved the character and decided that it would be challenging but always choose this character as he feels that the character is silent but has to convey his emotions without saying much which is a difficult and challenging part.
Tell us about your experience shooting with Sushmita Sen and what is that one thing about her that you discovered while shooting with her?
To this Sikandar Kher said that Sushmita Sen is family now as they have been shooting for 4 years and he loved working with her as he would pull her leg sometimes and while having a fun time they would even finish the scenes.
