MUMBAI:Neerja agrees to cook for the Brahmins. Trisha steps in, insisting that Neerja can’t manage due to college. Neerja assures she’ll handle it after her classes. Trisha plots to prevent it. Abeer gets ready to take Neerja to college. Neerja recalls someone entering her room last night and jokingly asks Abeer if it was him. They banter, and Abeer drives her off.

Kaushik, observing them leave, looks at Neerja with unwelcome desire. On the way, Neerja feels upset about her classmates mocking her origin. Abeer notices her sadness and stops, asking what’s wrong. Neerja questions why a person’s origin matters so much. Abeer accompanies her to college, where he sees students ridiculing Neerja by writing “Sonagachi’s queen Neerja” on the board. He intervenes, erasing it and writing “Neerja Abeer Bagchi.”
Back home, Moushmi assigns a long list of food for the feast, expecting Neerja to cook. Trisha questions Neerja’s ability to manage it alone. Moushmi asserts that Neerja has to fulfill this responsibility as she accepted it in front of Abeer. At college, Neerja faces a surprise test orchestrated by Trisha bribing the teacher. It’s challenging and has high stakes, worrying Neerja about completing it in time, alongside preparing the feast.
Kaushik, at work, ponders over Neerja when Munmun calls him. Initially surprised by her call, Kaushik is relieved to hear Munmun complain about Moushmi’s demand for Neerja to prepare the feast. He manipulates the conversation, painting the situation in a positive light. Neerja faces the tough test with the teacher intentionally breaking her pen. Managing to borrow one, she receives a message from Abeer, urging her to pass Moushmi’s test.
Trisha urges Moushmi to start preparing for the feast, but Moushmi insists Neerja should handle it or apologize, doubting her suitability as a daughter-in-law. Abeer informs Neerja that the driver is on the way to pick her up. Shocked, Neerja races to finish the test, surprising the teacher with her speed. She hurries home, stunning Trisha and Moushmi. Moushmi challenges Neerja’s capability, reluctantly agreeing. Yet, she instructs Munmun to order food, skeptical of Neerja.
