MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television is known for launching shows which have different concepts and stories which keep the audience hooked on to the show. With successful shows like Shrimad Ramayan, Mehndi Wala Ghar and Kavya, Ek Jzabaa Ek Junoon, which have been loved by audiences, the channel will now be adding a new show titled Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai starring Meera Deosthale and Zaan Khan in lead roles.

The show revolves around a pertinent issue plaguing modern society – dowry. Shedding light on the protagonist’s fight against this social evil, the narrative unfolds with an with an impactful first episode that will take you through a range of emotions, ranging from the trauma of a suicide in the family to the anguish of a potential groom demanding a heavy dowry to marry a girl, all coming to the fore. 

The protagonist, Nandini, is a feisty, responsible modern yet humble and affectionate girl who knows her roots well but will not tolerate injustice just for the sake of following age old traditions blindly.

Her courage to stand up for what’s right without taking into consideration her own life and happiness is something that is commendable. 

The gripping narrative and spellbinding performances will take you through a rollercoaster of emotions and keep you hooked to the show while making you eager to know what’s in store in the next episode
