MUMBAI: Sony SAB's ‘Aangan Aapno Kaa’ is a heartwarming story of a single father Jaidev Sharma (Mahesh Thakur) and his love for his three daughters Deepika, Tanvi and the youngest Pallavi. Neetha Shetty aka Deepika Sharma, who loves dancing in her real life, has now officially become the ‘reel queen’ on the sets of the show. From capturing the pulse of current trends to sharing heartwarming moments with her co-stars, Neetha has ignited a social media frenzy. Through outstanding dance videos and candid offscreen banter, she brings the essence of the show to life beyond the screen. Every corner of the set, from the bustling kitchen to the serene living room of the Awasthi family, there’s no place that Neetha hasn’t showcased in her reels.
With her infectious energy, she leaves no actor untouched, creating interesting reels with everyone. She dances with Pallavi’s mother-in-law Aparna (Kashish Duggal), shares laughs with chachi Kusum (Sonali Naik), and captures precious moments with the kids Rinku (Pratyaksh BS) and Rahul (Darsh Agarwal). Alongside her onscreen Jiju Rakesh (Yash Pandit), she crafts delightful reels, but it's her time spent shooting with her onscreen husband Varun (Waseem Mushtaq) that truly steals the spotlight.
Neetha Shetty, who plays the role of Deepika, shares, “When I'm on set, waiting for my scene to begin, I often find myself with a lot of time on my hands. So, to pass the time and keep the energy high, I love shooting reels. Since I always have a few saved on my phone, it's easy to quickly capture a moment. And if my co-actors happen to be waiting too, I love involving them in the fun. They're always ready and eager to join in! Most of the time, you'll find me shooting reels with Varun, as we often have scenes together. So, whenever we have a break between scenes, I always pull him aside to shoot reels with me, and he's always up for it, having a blast. Our recent reel on the trending Machli chapak garnered over 4.5 million views, and the response has been fantastic. It's wonderful to see how much people enjoy it, and I'm grateful for the enthusiasm of all my co-actors to create these reels with me.”
Waseem Mushtaq, who plays the role of Varun, says, “Working with a talented actor is always a blast, but when they're also a pro at making reels, it's double the fun! I'll admit, I'm a bit lazy when it comes to making reels and all, but when we're together, we just can't help but have a blast creating them. The response from our fans has been amazing, and seeing how much they enjoy it motivates us to keep making more for them. It's all about spreading joy and laughter together.”
