Creative Eye and Zee are trying every trick in the book to spice up their shows. After pulling off Vineet Raina aka Veer's character in Maayka , it is reported that Yuvraj Malhotra who plays Karan (Laksmi's husband) another vital character from their other show Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiytann), will be soon killed in the show.
To incorporate the track the production house has brought back Rajendra Chawla who plays Rasik Bhai, Maineka's (Tanushree Kaushal) brother. A source from the production house informs, "Rajendra Chawla was missing from the show and has returned almost after three months. He will kill Karan, protagonist Laksmi's husband."
"A major revelation is going to take place which will be a shock to viewers. Romit Raj who plays Yuvraj Garodia is not Maineka's son. Maineka gave birth to a girl but exchanges her daughter with Yuvraj who was born in the same hospital. Suryakant Garodia (Yatin Karyekar), the patriarch, who wishes to have son was disappointed by his first wife Savitri who fails to give birth to a boy. One fine day, he walks in with Maineka, his second wife. Maineka fears the aftermath of giving birth to a daughter and hence replaces her daughter with Yuvraj with the help of her brother Rasik Bhai."
"Every hidden secret about Maineka will be revealed and a new face will be roped in who will essay the character of Maineka's real daughter", concludes our source.
When contacted Yuvraj Malhotra confirms the news and says, "Yes, Rajendra Chawla who plays Rasik Bhai will kill me on the show. I can't talk much on this."
Though Noor, Supervising Producer, Betiyann, confirmed about the incorporation of a new face but remained tightlipped about the track. He says, "We can't confirm anything unless we get a go-ahead from Zee."
We tried contacting Tarun Mehra, Zee TV's Marketing Head who remained unavailable.
