MUMBAI: Budgeting is a crucial aspect of every actor's journey, particularly in the early days of their career. Recently, at the launch of Dish TV Smart+ Services actress Radhika Madan shed light on her experiences with budgeting during her initial days in the industry. Her candid revelations offer a glimpse into the challenges faced by actors in managing finances while keeping up with the dynamic demands of the entertainment world.
Radhika shared, "When I started out, I didn't have a lot of money and budget. The main problem I used to face was whenever I subscribed to one platform, a good show would become popular on another platform, and everyone would start talking about it. So, I would think, 'Now I have to subscribe to this one as well,' because every now and then, some show from some platform would gain popularity. I struggled a lot with this, and even if I had set a budget, it would always go out the window because audiences were loving shows on different platforms, and as actors, you need to stay updated, you need to watch those shows. It's not just Netflix and Amazon Prime; many good shows are available on other platforms too, and that's where my budget would go haywire."
She added, "So, what Dish TV has done with Dish TV Smart+ Services is so beautiful because it addresses the actual problem. They have observed the challenges people are facing – their budgets are not being maintained, the convenience people desire – and they have provided a correct solution. I wish I had this at that time; my budget would have been under control then."
The actress who celebrated for her exceptional performances across multiple entertainment platforms such as television, OTT, and Bollywood, recently shared insights into her experiences working across these mediums at an event in Mumbai. She said, "Being part of television, OTT, or theaters has been a joy, as each medium offers unique learning experiences and reaches different audiences. I'm amazed at how Dish TV has simplified this experience with its Dish TV Smart+ Services, offering a one-stop destination for all types of entertainment. This revolutionary approach has made life much easier for someone like me, who enjoys diverse content across various platforms."
In her recent work, the actress was last featured in 'Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo' and 'Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video.' She is set to appear in upcoming projects like 'Sanaa' and 'Sarfira,' with further details yet to be revealed.
