MUMBAI: Global icon Priyanka Chopra just wrapped up shooting of Head of State. She and her daughter Malti Marie have been sharing a lot of photos all the time. Today, she shared a picture with Katrina Kaif and went on a trip down memory lane. It quickly became viral. She will appear in Jee Le Zaraa alongside Katrina and Alia, though.
Priyanka posted the image to her Instagram stories with the caption, “Woah… Dunno who took it and when this picture was taken but babies…@katrinakaif”.
Both appear ready for a dance move in the photo. They are smiling at the camera while donning sparkling outfits. In reference to Jee Lee Zaraa, when Farhan Akhtar announced it in 2021, it soon rose to the top of the list of most awaited films. However, no significant updates have been released since then.
During an interview with the popular entertainment portal, Farhan Akhtar claimed that the dates were an issue behind the delay. He told the publication, “We just have issues with dates, and the actor’s strike that’s happened has put Priyanka’s dates into a huge tizzy with what can happen and what can’t, so I’ve started genuinely believing that that film now has a destiny of its own. It’ll happen when it has to, we’ll see.”
Recently, Priyanka Chopra said that the much-awaited movie Heads of State had finished filming. The actress wrote a touching note expressing her love for the movie and posted a joyful video montage with her crew and daughter Malti. John Cena and Idris Elba are also featured in the action-comedy Heads of State.
The note read, “And it’s a wrap. It’s been a year. well, a lot happened but here we are. Tonight I wrapped on a set that was always so full of laughter and professionalism. That rare combination doesn’t happen always.. This movie was a breeze because the cast and crew came prepared with their A game, everyday.” She further added, “It’s been an honour to work with some legends in our business on this one. Hope y’all have as much fun watching it as we did making it. Heads of state will be on @primevideo .. when u ask me? Above my pay grade. lol. Gratitude.”
