MUMBAI: Kartik Aaryan has been giving some amazing performances over the time and after the success of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, not the audience is ready for Sajid Nadiadwala's upcoming project ‘Chandu Champion’ which is based on a true story of a sportsperson and directed by Kabir Khan. Since the announcement of the project, it has been getting a lot of attention.
When talking about the movie, it’s going to be an unbelievable tale of a man who faced tough challenges one after another but always kept up an undying spirit. Kartik Aaryan plays the lead role in the movie and the character’s unwavering zeal and never-give-up attitude led to India’s first individual gold medal in any form of the Olympics. And this is the story of Chandu Champion.
Earlier, the makers have revealed the first look of Kartik Aaryan, the first poster along with the release date of the movie.
At the trailer launch event of the movie, Kartik Aaryan revealed how he agreed to do Chandu Champion due to his love for Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala, and then felt afraid after actually starting the film.
Kartik Aaryan said, "film ke baare mein bataya aur jab narration diya, tab maine inse pehli baar yehi sawaal puchha tha ki kya yeh sach mein aisa hua hai? Ya yeh fictional hai? Because inki story mein itne twist and turns hai, itne historic moments hai, Jo kisi ke life mein hona next to impossible hai. Toh main shock mein tha jab maine pehli baar yehi narration liya tha sir se. But to my surprise everything was...his life experiences and they were reality and they were big big moments which you will see in the movie but yeah I was just amazed and main sach batau toh pehle ek-aadh mahina main skeptical bhi tha. Maine ha toh bol Diya tha Kabir sir aur Sajid sir ke pyaar mein ke main yeh karna chahta hu aur fir lekin mujhe Darr bhi laga bohot ke kya main kar paunga? Roz gym Jaa Raha hu, khana nahi kha Raha hu, movies dusri nahi kar raha hu. Sirf ek hi picture , dedh saal ki picture hai. Main robot ban Gaya tha, machine ban Gaya and was just following orders... And here we are"
The movie will hit the theatres first on 14th June 2024 and will then be released on Amazon Prime for streaming.
Audiences want to witness this extraordinary real-life story which is headlined by the versatile Kartik Aaryan. The makers had earlier released the first look of the movie.
Earlier, as an update, we had informed that Kartik Aaryan had also dropped a post on his Instagram profile where he could be seen with Sena Agbeko, a famous boxer.
