MUMBAI: Actress Sheetal Maulik, last seen in Barsatein - Mausam Pyar Ka has also been a quintessential part of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. While she is on a short sabbatical, TellyChakkar engaged in a one to one conversation with the actress about her future projects, and the kind of roles she looks forward to essaying now.
Sheetal said, “As an actor I like trying my hands on different things and I have performed in a range of genres from comedy to horror. I like challenging characters which are complex and have a lot of layers, be it positive or negative. Talking about Sheetal’s association with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Barsatein - Mausam Pyaar Ka, she shared, “I bond really well with actors of both the casts and they all have a really good heart. I love it when it so happens that even if I am not in touch with them for a brief period of time, whenever we talk we recreate all those memories and it is lovely to have all those people in your life.”
Speaking about her interest in OTT, Sheetal averred, “I am interested in doing OTT however, I am not open to taking up bold roles. I have some personal reasons of mine.I have always said in most of my interviews that my daughter is too small and she really appreciates my work so at this age I would not like to indulge in such roles. Once she starts understanding that it is just on-screen, I would take it up.”
