Shah Rukh Khan and Samantha NOT teaming up with Rajkumar Hirani; deets inside

MUMBAI: Shahrukh Khan is one of the most loved and respected actors from the Hindi movie industry. He has proven his versatility by showing his potential playing various characters in a lot of movies. The actor never fails to impress us and has become the king of romance. However, last year King Khan gave us a treat by giving some action-packed performances which left the audience awestruck.

Shahrukh Khan appeared in 3 movies last year, Dunki, Jawan, and Pathaan. While Jawan was directed by South director Atlee, Pathaan was an YRF spy universe movie and Dunki was a movie made by Rajkumar Hirani.

On the other hand we have Samantha Ruth Prabhu who has been ruling the hearts of millions since her debut in Vasudev Menon’s Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. Samantha works majorly in Telugu and Tamil movies. She was also seen in Hindi OTT series Family Man starring Manoj Bajpayee.

When it comes to movies, Samantha has been a pivotal part of movies like Brindavanam, Eega, Ekk Deewana Tha, Jabardasth, Ramayya Vasthavayya, Manam, Autonagar Surya, Kaththi, Thanga Magan, Their, 24, Brahmotsav, A Aa, Janatha Garage, Mahanati, U Turn, Super Deluxe, Pushpa: The Rise, Kushi and many more.

It’s been a few days now that there are reports circulating all over social media, claiming that Rajkumar Hirani, the Dunki director who worked with Shah Rukh Khan on the movie is ready to team up for another action-adventure movie and that Samantha will be paired opposite SRK.

Even though fans were trying to have a follow up of the project, there was no confirmation to the reports and here’s where the truth stands. Sources close to Rajkumar Hirani strongly deny the rumors, stating that Raju Sir is currently busy writing his next film. There have been no discussions with SRK or Samantha regarding any project. The source laughs off the idea of Shah Rukh Khan and Samantha collaborating for an untitled action-adventure patriotic movie as completely baseless and untrue.

Yes, this will be a sad for the fans but not to forget, SRK will be seen in ‘King’ and that too with Suhana Khan playing his on-screen daughter. It’ll be interesting to see this.
