MUMBAI: Elvish Yadav has run into issues once again. The YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2 has been the subject of a police complaint, according to the popular news portal, for allegedly taking pictures inside the Kashi Vishwanath temple complex. Prateek Kumar Singh, an advocate with the Varanasi sessions court, is alleged to have submitted this case.

The advocate stated in his letter that since Elvish Yadav took photos inside the temple compound, people have questioned the authority over allegations that they are biased. It is forbidden to use cameras or cell phones on the premises of the temple. Singh has now pleaded with the police to take action against Elvish in this case.
This is not the first time that Elvish Yadav has landed in legal trouble. The YouTuber is also being probed in connection to the Noida Snake Venom Case. Earlier this week, Yadav appeared at the ED office in Lucknow in connection to the case.
However, on his way to the office, he was mobbed by reporters who wanted an answer to the allegations against him. Elvish avoided the questions and stating that he wouldn't want to discuss the subject because it was sub-judice. He indicated that he would find out more about it after he had a conversation with ED officials. “Jo unhone maanga tha, woh maine submit kiya hai ab woh batayenge. Main baar baar ek cheez repeat nahi kar sakta,” he said to the press, as per videos circulating on X.
In March this year, Elvish Yadav was arrested by Noida Police in a snake poisoning case. The case was lodged under provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, and for criminal conspiracy under section 120B of the Indian Penal Code, they said. A day after his arrest, the popular news portal claimed Elvish had admitted to his crimes. However, no official statement was released.
Yadav was given bail on a 50,000 bail bond a week later. Speaking to the media over the same subject, his lawyer Prashant Rathi said, “Our arguments in this case was that he was falsely accused and no substance was obtained from him or his friends that violated the NDPS act. The court has granted bail to him (Elvish Yadav) as well as his two friends on two sureties of Rs 50,000 each.”
Later, Elvish also recalled the time he spent in jail and called it a “very bad phase of his life”. “The one week that went by, no doubt, was a very bad phase of life. What to talk about the time I was inside (jail). Let’s start a new chapter on a positive note. All those who supported me didn’t support me, talked badly or well about me, thanks to all. I can only thank everyone. I am back to my work,” he said in his vlogs.
