MUMBAI : It's hard to stay calm when Pranali Rathod is about to make her small-screen comeback with a new program. The television diva is getting ready for the premiere of an intriguing daily soap opera in which she will play the lead part, after conquering hearts as Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Earlier, the popular news portal revealed that Colors are joining hands with the makers of Jhanak for a new show. "The production house is making their grand debut on Colors TV with the new show tentatively titled Durga. Pranali Rathod was the perfect fit for the show as she aced the audition and look test. The makers are confident that the show will strike a chord with the audience just like their previous show Jhanak on Star Plus," a source revealed.
The Durga promo is expected to be released shortly on the Colors channel if the latest gossip is to be believed. Pranali's dedication was praised by Indira Krishna, who was recently dubbed for the show's promo, and they talked about their relationship.

Pranali Rathod-Aashay Mishra's show will be set against the backdrop of Jodhpur. To shoot the promo and key scenes for the new daily soap opera, the cast and crew headed to Rajasthan. Pranali, Aashay, and other cast members wrapped up filming the serial in Blue City last month.
