MUMBAI: Maddock Horror Comedy Universe started with the release of Stree featuring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee Aparshakti Khurana and some more. The movie was directed by Dinesh Vijan and released in 2018.
The movie introduced the audience to the genre of horror comedy in the best way and garnered a huge amount of love from the audience. The movie also became favorite for many meme-creators online and thanks to this, there was a huge buzz for the movie even after its release.
Soon there came some more movies like Bhediya starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, Roohi starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor and recently released Munjya starring Abhay Verma, Sharvari and Mona Singh. Munjya being the recent release from the MHCU it gave us a good hints for both Bhediya and Stree 2.
After the makers dropped the teaser of Stree 2, the audience went crazy as they got to watch Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor and also got a small glimpse of Tamannaah Bhatia. The makers finally dropped the trailer of the movie and watching it really got the audience hooked. The trailer looks like everything that the audience were waiting for and a little more.
We had earlier reported how Akshay Kumar is reported to play a cameo role and there is a possibility of Kriti Sanon’s cameo too. Now comes another major update regarding its release date.
So according to reports, Stree 2, which was supposed to release on 15th August, will now release one day prior, on 14th August. Also, there are going to be special night shows for the fans by 7.30pm. This will clearly be a winning move in the clash that is going to be on 15th August with Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa.
It seems like Stree 2 is really going to be big and we are all excited for it.
