MUMBAI: While Stree marked the beginning of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe , Stree 2 has now arrived with Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana back again to entertain us. The movie released on 15th August with special shows for fans on 14th August.
Talking about 15th august, there were 2 more Hindi movies released on the same day - Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein. We all know how things went down on 15th August. Stree 2 made history with a record-breaking Rs 60 Cr collection in India nett.

Khel Khel Mein is directed by Mudassir Aziz and stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Aparshakti Khurana, Freddy Daruwala, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal. On the other hand, we have Vedaa starring John Abraham, Sharvari and Abhishek Banerjee.
Fans of Akshay Kumar and audience in general who watched and enjoyed both Khel Khel Mein and Sarfira claim that they finally got to watch the Akshay Kumar they thought had disappeared for a while. When talking about Khel Khel Mein, it seems Akshay Kumar has brought back his elements of comedy which is satisfying the audience.
On the other hand, John Abraham has done something unique. Yes, it's not unusual that John Abraham is doing action. The actor has proven his mettle with multiple genres and has presented various types of actions be it as a positive lead or negative. According to fans, they are happy to see a star like John Abraham making way for Sharvari and letting her take the lead in the story.
However, there's something subtle but crazy about all the three films. It's not exactly a link but we can call it a multiverse of actors.
Here's what we observed:
We got to watch Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia and Akshay Kumar in Stree 2 but we also got to watch these in other movies which released in the same day.
Aparshakti Khurana and Akshay Kumar were also seen in Khel Khel Mein, Tamannaah Bhatia and Abhishek Banerjee were seen in Vedaa too. It's not just about the actors present in two different movies but it's also the characters they played which were so contradicting to one another and the biggest example we can take us if Abhishek Banerjee who played such contrasting characters in both Vedaa and Stree 2.
Just thinking about this multiverse, we are sure it will get a lot of fans wondering and imagining something fun.
