MUMBAI: It’s raining news on TellyChakkar.
There are a plethora of concepts and shows in the making and there are many which have launched recently. TellyChakkar has been on the forefront when it comes to delivering breaking news and exclusive content from the world of television.
There is a new web series in the making titled Murshid which is slated to release on Zee5. The project will feature Kay Kay Menon alongside Tanuj Virwani and is produced by Bestway Motion Pictures.
Now we have information that actress Jiya Rao will also be seen in the series. She will play the role of ASI Fatima Aabalaal Bagwan.
Jiya has earlier been seen in projects like Parshuram Season 2, Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. She is also seen in the OTT series Raisinghani vs Raisinghani which stars Karan Wahi, Jennifer Winget and Reem Shaikh.
The makers of Murshid have not released much about the storyline of the show, but according to media reports, it will be set against gangster culture. The makers had also released the poster of the series recently.
