MUMBAI: Anupamaa rules on the television screens. The show is performing extremely well. It is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Sreemoyee, produced by Rajan and Deepa Shahi under Director's Kut Productions. The show stars Gaurav Khanna, Madalsa Sharma, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Rupali Ganguly.

When Vanraj decides to marry Meenu as soon as possible, it seems like he sees the connection between Sagar and Meenu as well as their developing closeness.
He therefore requests Baa to find Meenu a suitable boy so that they can arrange her marriage. Meenu is astonished when she hears about the same.
After knowing of this, Meenu calls Sagar to request a meeting and tells him of her marriage decision with a wealthy doctor.
To which Sagar asks Meenu to take this proposal as he is not interested in her. Poor Sagar loves Meenu but he is quiet due to the family differences and their status too.
Sagar sacrifices his love for Meenu because he does not want to witness issues for Meenu and their Aasha Bhawan people.
Meenu is forced to accept this marriage alliance.
