MUMBAI: The forthcoming movie De De Pyaar De 2, starring Ajay Devgn, has generated a lot of conversation. Now, a large chunk of the film is reportedly going to be shot in Punjab's "beautiful and rustic locations." Pinkvilla was the first to reveal that Bhushan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, and Ajay Devgn would be teaming up again for the sequel. Picking up where De De Pyaar De left off, the movie will investigate humorous scenarios within Rakul Preet Singh's family.
As per a source, “As of now, the production is busy preparing for a 45-50 day schedule in some beautiful and rustic locations in Punjab.” R Madhavan, Rakul and other crew and cast members will travel to Punjab next month while Ajay will join in after he completes his commitment for Son of Sardar 2 in the UK.
For De De Pyaar De 2, Anil Kapoor has been assigned a crucial role, which Luv Ranjan and his team managed to get. The idea of the movie quickly piqued Kapoor's interest, and he decided to work on it. It is anticipated that the follow-up will increase the humor from the original movie and have a new dynamic between Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn.
