MUMBAI : Sunny Deol’s fans were in for a great surprise when Border 2 was announced a while back. His 1997 movie Border is all set to mesmerize fans once again. For the universed, the film was directed by Anurag Singh and was produced by JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta and Bhushan Kumar.

On June 12, Sunny had posted a speculative video where he asked his fans to guess the announcement he was to make. His fans went berserk and started speculating about his next film offering.
Well, Sunny paaji later put an end to all the speculations by revealing that he was returning back to Hindi cinema with India's biggest war movie- Border 2.
In the latest development, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh will be part of the movie. Diljit Dosanjh, an actor and musician, is the "fauji" Sunny Deol revealed is joining the regiment. With supporters and followers on social media, he confirmed the news by posting a promo video welcoming Dosanjh to the team. He had also revealed Varun Dhawan's casting for Border 2 in August.
Border 2 is being produced by T-Series and JP films while it has been written by JP Dutta's daughter Nidhi Dutta. Rumors reveal that Border 2, would showcase the Battle of Longewala and the shooting of the same reportedly will start in October, this year.
The war based drama film would be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi while Anurag Singh would be directing the same.
