Manuraj talks on web series Aukaat Se Zyaada: I've never received as much love as I have for this show

MUMBAI: Actor Manuraj, who plays the role of Prakash, aka Pakya in Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik’s web series Aukaat Se Jyada, streaming on the YouTube channel Freshh Mint, says that he has been getting a great response. The actor adds that he has surprised his audience by taking on this role, and they are loving it.

“The audience has loved my role, and many of my friends have personally texted me, asking when the next episode will be released. I've never received as much love as I have for this show,” he says.

He adds, “The viewers were surprised to see me play this type of character, as it's my first time playing such a role. They couldn't believe I could pull it off, but I'm glad they loved it! I'm glad to be part of Aukaat Se Zyaada. I hope the next series starts shooting soon!”

Ask him how he felt when he was approached for the role, and he says, “Initially, I was replaced from the character, but two days later, I was selected again! I think God made this character for me (just kidding!). But seriously, I loved playing Pakya. If Adarsh is the hero, Pakya is the pillar of the series. Aukaat Se Zyaada has a different and unique storyline, set in a college, which resonates with youth.”

Shooting for the series has been fun too! “If I start sharing behind-the-scenes stories, I'll need a whole pen and paper! There are many stories from the first day to the last day of shooting, between actors and the production team.”
