MUMBAI: Sony SAB has become a part of households for a lot of viewers due to its light-hearted dramas and comedies. The channel was initially loved and known for its comedy shows and later it introduced some emotional dramas to its audience too.

While we got to watch a great line of dramas on Sony SAB, as per sources, the channel is making some changes and will be coming up with a lineup of new shows.

SAB TV slate of new shows are to be launched only around January 2025. The channel is keen to go back to its comic roots. So, all their new shows in the pipeline are being revamped, which includes Rashmi Sharma and Jay Mehta's upcoming shows. This is also why Vanshaj and other shows of Sony and SAB have gone off air.
Recently, we had updated about Maddam Sir 2’s release being pushed a little further. There was news doing the rounds that the show will be returning back with Season 2 and the talks with the actors were on.
We got to know that the show might be delayed a bit more as the makers of the show are planning to revamp it and make it funnier in accordance with SAB TV's new vision to bring back the out-an-out comedy-centric image of the channel with funnier shows.
