MUMBAI: Nath Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani actress Anupama Solanki feels that mental health is definitely an issue and it needs everyone’s close attention. Speaking on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, which is observed on October 10, she said, “Mental health is definitely a real issue, and I don’t think it’s exaggerated at all. We live in a world where there’s so much pressure to do well, stay connected, and keep up with everything, which can make it tough for many people.”

“It’s important that we talk about it more because this helps people feel less lonely and encourages them to seek help when they need it,” she added.

Anupama ensures that she takes frequent breaks to keep her mental health in check. She added, “I make sure I keep traveling as much as I can whenever I get time from work. I spend time with my parents; they are my cheerleaders. Whenever I feel stressed or low, I just try to spend time with my parents. This is the way I take care of my mental health. I believe everything is related to your mental health; if you are mentally healthy, you are physically healthy as well.”

She is an extrovert but likes to keep things to herself. However, she said, “I share everything with my parents; they are my best friends, and I have to share every single thing with them; they know every single detail about my life.”

She also stressed that it can be challenging to keep up with the fast pace of life. “We’re always juggling so many tasks at once, which makes it hard to give full attention to anything. It’s important to slow down sometimes and focus on one thing at a time. This helps reduce stress and improves the quality of whatever we’re doing,” she said.

Two mental health tips? “First thing is I am a very spiritual person, so I visit spiritual places that just perk up my mood, and second thing is to spend time with my parents, as I said, they are my cheerleaders and my best friends,” Anupama ended.
