MUMBAI: With International Men's Day around the corner on November 19th, Sun Neo stars Sara Khan, Kamya Panjabi, and Sangita Ghosh shared their thoughts on what it truly means to be a real ‘Alpha male.’
Sara Khan, who plays Goddess Kritikayein in Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, shared, "For me, a real alpha male leads with quiet confidence, grounded in kindness. His strength isn’t loud but supportive, respecting others and valuing integrity. He shows loyalty and patience, takes responsibility readily, and makes those around him feel secure. True strength is in leading with empathy and respect."
Kamya Panjabi, who plays Mohini in Ishq Jabariya, expressed, "The true alpha male has courage and empathy. With strong convictions, he approaches others with compassion and humility. He empowers rather than asserts, resiliently kind even in challenges, respects all, and stands for equality. His strength lies in listening, lifting others, and balancing sensitivity with a commitment to do good."
Sangita Ghosh, who plays Saroj in Saajha Sindoor, said, "To me, a real alpha male has purpose and deep emotional intelligence. He pursues his goals without ego, values honesty, and inspires through calm leadership and openness to learning. Without seeking validation, he leads by example, with resilience, quiet strength, and genuine compassion."
Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya follows Vaishnavi (Brinda Dahal), an orphan who sees Chhathi Maiyya as her mother. Ishq Jabariya tells the story of Gulki (Siddhi Sharma) and her struggles to achieve her dreams. Saajha Sindoor depicts Phooli (Stuti Vinkle), who is labelled an unmarried widow after her groom dies on their wedding day.
