Mansi Verma is back

Mansi Verma who was last seen in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii is making a special appearance in Star Plus' Jai Maa Durga in two upcoming episodes. Mansi will play the role of Mohini who has been created by the King of Gods, Indra and Kaamdev. The actress is quite upbeat about doing the show as she is a Vaishno Mata devotee in real life. It is to be learned that Mansi, a very spiritual person, had gone for a visit to the pilgrimage of Mata Vaishno Devi and she got the offer to act in the mytho immediately after her return from the visit. Mansi says, "Yes, it's true that I got a call from the production house as soon as I returned from my pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi. I strongly believe Matahas blessed me with this role. After the incident my faith in the goddess has increased multiple times." Talking about her character in the two episodes, Mansi informs, "I am playing Mohini whose task is to use her beauty and devious ways to cause a rift between the demon brothers, Shumbh and Nishumbh who have been given a boon by Brahma that they cannot be killed by anyone except a woman. Taking advantage of this boon both of them try to capture the three loks and create havoc amongst the Gods. The brothers fall for Mohini's tricks but realise the truth later and try to kill her. Maa Durga steps in to save her and takes on an avatar and kills both Shumbh and Nishumbh." Well what took you so long? Mansi replies, "I was trying my hand in films but now I have realised that they take their own sweet time. Now that every TV actor is trying their luck in movies even I thought of doing the same." Mansi's introduction episode was aired on Saturday, 28 June and her second episode will air on Saturday, 5 June at 7 pm.
