Sony Pictures drops trailer of crime thriller, Caught Stealing, starring Golden Globe Winner Austin Butler, in cinemas on August 29

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Entertainment India has dropped the intense trailer for its upcoming crime thriller Caught Stealing, which is set to release in Indian theatres on August 29, 2025.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, the film stars Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee Austin Butler as a former baseball player who spirals into New York City’s criminal underworld in the gritty 1990s.

Based on Charlie Huston’s cult-favorite 2004 novel, Caught Stealing features a stellar ensemble including Zoë Kravitz, Regina King, Vincent D’Onofrio, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, and Carol Kane.
