Reflecting on her father’s guidance, Shanaya said, “Just recently, Dad sent a Robert De Niro interview video to our family group, where he says: ‘When things are going well, be cautious—don’t let it get to your head. And when things aren’t going well, don’t let that get to your head either.’”
She continued, “My dad has experienced the highs and lows of the industry. He always reminds me that people come and go, and everyone is replaceable. You can’t afford to take opportunities for granted. He’s maintained a positive outlook and focused on what’s in his control—his craft and hard work. That’s exactly what he’s advised me to do, and I’m putting it into practice every day.”
