MUMBAI: Sony TV’s Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan has been making headlines for quite some time now. The show features Ronit Roy in a pivotal role, while child actor Urva Savaliya portrays the titular character. Now, TellyChakkar.com has exclusively learned that the show is gearing up for a leap, and the makers are actively auditioning new actors to bring fresh and unique characters to life.
Tellychakkar.com earlier reported that actors Arya Mahajan, Rohit Chandel and Samarthya Gupta were considered to play the lead role in the show.

As per the new development, it is Samarthya Gupta who has impressed the makers the most and he has bagged the meaty and titular role.
Gupta has been a part of TV shows like Splitsvilla, Apollena and Jubilee Talkies.
We tried to contact Samarthya, but he remained unavailable for comment.
Earlier in the day, Tellychakkar reported that Priyanshi Yadav of Pandya Store and Doree fame has been locked to play the female lead in the show.
