MUMBAI: Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 marks a bold new chapter in the iconic franchise, introducing Ranveer Singh as the titular anti-hero. This reboot aims to blend the franchise's legacy with contemporary flair, offering a fresh perspective for both new audiences and long-time fans.
Singh steps into the role with his signature charisma, bringing a dynamic energy to the character. His performance is complemented by Kriti Sanon, who joins as the female lead, adding depth and chemistry to the narrative.
The film's action sequences are meticulously choreographed, delivering high-octane thrills that are both stylish and engaging.
Initially, Kiara Advani was signed on to play the female lead opposite Ranveer. However, recent reports suggest that she has exited the project, with Kriti Sanon stepping in to take her place. The antagonist’s casting, too, has gone through reshuffles.
While earlier rumours hinted at Vikrant Massey joining the film as the villain, he reportedly isn’t part of the movie and the reason is still unknown.
Now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, Tamil star Arjun Das is being considered to take on the role of the antagonist. Known for his intense performances in films like Master, Kaithi, and Good Bad Ugly, Arjun has built a reputation for bringing both menace and complexity to his characters. If the deal is sealed, Don 3 will mark his much-anticipated Bollywood debut.
As per her close source the entertainment portal quoted saying, ‘Arjun has shown his interest too, as the character has multiple arcs and offers a lot more than just a run-of-the-mill antagonist." His involvement is expected to add an edge to the film, raising excitement among both Bollywood and South Indian cinema fans.
Reports suggest that the shoot of the movie will begin from the month of January 2026 and the cast and crew is all set to roll.
In summary, Don 3 successfully reinvents the franchise, offering a compelling mix of action, style, and intrigue, setting the stage for future instalments.
