A heartbreaking tragedy has struck the television industry, as young actor Veer and his brother Shaurya sadly lost their lives in a devastating fire accident.

MUMBAI: The television fraternity was left in deep shock earlier today with the heart-breaking news of child actor Veer Sharma’s untimely passing.

The 10-year-old, best known for his portrayal of Lakshman in Shrimad Ramayan, lost his life alongside his elder brother, 15-year-old Shaurya Sharma, in a tragic fire at their residence.

The devastating incident occurred at the Deep Shree apartment complex in Anantpura, Kota, Rajasthan. Reports confirm that the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the building, where the two boys were alone at the time.

According to police officials, both children succumbed to suffocation caused by thick smoke that rapidly engulfed the flat.

Alert neighbors noticed smoke billowing from the apartment and rushed to help, breaking down the door to rescue the boys. However, despite being rushed to hospital, doctors declared them dead on arrival.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire may have been triggered by a short circuit. Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam revealed that the drawing room was completely gutted, with burn marks evident in other parts of the house. Station House Officer Bhupendra Singh also confirmed electrical faults as the suspected cause.

While Veer was building a promising acting career—having also been cast to play young Saif Ali Khan in an upcoming film—Shaurya was preparing diligently for IIT entrance exams.

The tragic loss of both brothers has left family, friends, and fans mourning a future cut short too soon.
