MUMBAI: On 28th September 2025, heartbreaking news hit the entertainment industry. Eight-year-old child actor Veer Sharma lost his life in a tragic fire incident at his residence in Kota. The news came as a shock to everyone. Veer was also a part of Shrimad Ramayan.
TellyChakkar.com got in touch with Veer’s Shrimad Ramayan co-star Sheersha Tiwari, who is currently playing Prarthana in Star Plus’ show Anupamaa. In an exclusive chat with us, Tiwari shared her fond memories of Veer.

When asked about learning of the young actor’s tragic demise, Sheersha said, "I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear about Veer’s untimely demise. It is heartbreaking to know that such young, talented lives were lost in such a tragic way. I can’t imagine the pain the parents are going through, losing both kids at the same time. My prayers and thoughts are with their family during this unimaginable time of grief."
Recalling fond memories with Veer, Sheersha added, "Though I only had the chance to work with Veer as one of my two sons for a few scenes in Shrimad Ramayan, I remember him as a sincere boy on set. He carried a natural charm and innocence that reflected in his performance. Even in that short interaction, I could see his dedication to acting. It is truly painful to know that his journey ended so soon."
For the uninitiated, Veer, along with his fifteen-year-old elder brother, lost their lives in a fire caused by a short circuit at their house in Kota. Their mother, an actress, was in Mumbai at the time of the tragic incident, while their father, Jitendra Sharma, was at an event.
The family has now announced that they will donate their sons’ eyes.
