MUMBAI: The newly launched reality series Rise and Fall has only been on air for a few days, yet it has already captured the audience’s attention with its high-stakes drama and compelling dynamics.
Streaming on MX Player and Amazon Prime, the show is hosted by business tycoon Ashneer Grover and brings together a remarkable ensemble of celebrities from various entertainment backgrounds.
Adapted from the international format Rise and Shine, the competition kicks off with all participants on equal footing before dividing them into two sharply contrasting worlds.
Some contestants ascend to become Rulers, basking in luxury and comfort in an opulent penthouse, while others take on the role of Grafters, facing demanding challenges and surviving on limited resources.

The glittering line-up includes Kiku Sharda, Arjun Bijlani, Dhanashree Verma, Kubbra Sait, Aahana Kumra, Aditya Narayan, Anaya Bangar, Akriti Negi, Noorin Sha, Bali, Aarush Bhola, Arbaaz Patel, Nayandeep Rakshit, and wrestler Sangeeta Phogat.
In a recently surfaced video clip, viewers can see a heartfelt conversation between Kiku Sharda and Akriti Negi, where Kiku is seen advising Akriti not to walk away from the show.
Offering his words of encouragement, he reminds her that quitting is not the solution and that she should face the situation head-on.
Kiku further points out that Akriti barely interacts with Arjun Bijlani outside of the televised moments, questioning why she would let that dynamic influence her decision to leave the competition.
Responding to him, Akriti admits that Arjun tends to bring out a side of her she doesn’t like and wouldn’t want the audience to see, making it emotionally difficult for her to continue.
As tensions simmer, fans are now keen to find out whether Akriti will choose to stay and fight or ultimately decide to walk away.
It remains to be seen if she and Arjun will be able to resolve their differences as the game intensifies in Rise and Fall.
