MUMBAI: Sagar Parekh, who is currently seen in Zee TV’s show Jagriti, recently shot a beautiful sequence for Star Plus’ Anupamaa, reprising his much-loved role as Samar. Sagar was earlier a part of Anupamaa and had received immense appreciation for his performance. Samar’s death track had left fans heartbroken, so his return to the show has sparked a wave of excitement and nostalgia among viewers.
In the recent episodes of Anupamaa, Samar is seen telling Anupamaa that he hasn’t found closure since his killer is still at large. The emotionally charged episode was well received by fans, who were thrilled to see Sagar back as Samar — even if it was just for one scene.
Now, Sagar Parekh has taken to social media to share a heartfelt note about returning to the Anupamaa sets and reuniting with Rupali Ganguly. Recreating his last picture with Rupali from the show’s sets, Sagar wrote, “Full circle moments hit different. After approximately two, two and a half years… stepping back into Samar’s shoes… even if just for a short while… felt like returning home. The emotions, the nostalgia, the energy… everything came rushing back the moment I walked onto the sets of Anupamaa.
This picture holds something truly special… it’s an exact recreation of the last photo we took two years ago when I shot my final scene."
