MUMBAI: Indian actor Ankit Raj Kashyap is gaining international attention after Mike Timm, Senior Creative Producer at Universal Studios, praised his “easy screen presence” and recommended him for casting.
The endorsement followed a self-recorded audition Ankit shared on LinkedIn using early script pages from Timm’s screenplay, “Bobby’s Got A Gun.” Timm wrote:

Born in Jalandhar, Punjab, and raised in Delhi, Ankit Raj completed his schooling and engineering before moving to Mumbai to pursue acting. He has since built a growing body of work through monologues, short films, and collaborative projects emphasizing authenticity and emotional depth.
