MUMBAI: Samridhii Shukla, who is currently seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, confessed that she indeed feels the pressure of being visible or seen on social media. Though she understands that people want to know about her life, she is not someone who shares much about her life.
In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Samridhii said, "I feel pressured all the time to use social media, to be out there. And I label myself as an old-school person. Not saying that out of pride, but just out of conscience. I don't really like to put everything of mine out there. I like to have certain aspects that people don't know anything about. I don't want to be overexposed."

"I don't want everyone to know everything about me. And I feel like that social pressure is there, that pressure from peers and from everybody to be out there. But I try as much as I can, and I do it till the time it makes me happy, because I cannot do it just for the sake of being out there. But definitely there’s a pressure to be out there to be visible," she added.
To keep her content fresh and authentic, she tries to stay true to what feels natural. She said, "I don’t follow every trend, and I post only when something truly connects with me. I think people can sense honesty when you’re being yourself versus when you’re just trying to fit in."
"I like keeping my content a reflection of who I am, even if it’s not always trending," she added.
She stressed that the audience now wants to see real content. "We’ve all seen so much fast content that doesn’t stay in our minds for even a day. Now, audiences are appreciating honesty, emotion, and simplicity more than perfection. I think slow, thoughtful content has a different charm," she said.
She feels going forward social media will see both detox and reinvention. "Many people are already taking small breaks or using social media more carefully. But at the same time, these platforms keep changing and reinventing themselves. I think the future will be about balance, using social media for creativity and connection, but not letting it take over your peace," Samridhii ended.
