MUMBAI: MTV Splitsvilla, one of television’s most loved dating reality shows, is gearing up for its much–awaited sweet sixteenth season after fifteen successful editions. The buzz around MTV Splitsvilla X6 is already rising, especially with Sunny Leone returning as host and the charismatic Karan Kundrra joining her this year.
TellyChakkar.com had exclusively reported the speculation that popular actress Nia Sharma may join MTV Splitsvilla X6 as the Mischief Maker. Now, we bring yet another exclusive update. According to sources, Hamid Barkzi, who previously participated in Roadies 17 and Splitsvilla X4 and emerged as the winner of both, will be seen as an Insider on the show.

An Insider on Splitsvilla and Roadies interacts with contestants during fun segments, helping viewers get to know them better. At times, the Insider also participates in certain task trials.
A highly placed source reveals that Hamid has already reached the beach resort in Chennai for the shoot. However, we were unable to connect with Barkzi for a comment.
Earlier, TellyChakkar.com exclusively reported that MTV Roadies XX contestants Yogesh Rawat and Simran Behl will be part of the new season. Additionally, model Anuska Ghosh, realtor Aarav Chugh, and actor Mohit Magotra have been roped in as contestants. We also reported that The Society fame Asmita Adhikari and Biswajit Ghosh have joined the show.
Reports further suggest that MTV Roadies XX winner Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, along with Shubhangi Jaiswal, have also been approached for the upcoming season.
