He assured that the film is definitely on the cards, saying, “We’re working on it and no hurry. But it is something that Salman and I will discuss and do.
It will happen. I don’t know when, but whenever it happens, it’ll be something to look forward to.”
The journey of the Dabangg franchise began in 2010 with Dabangg, directed by Abhinav Kashyap.
The film became a cultural landmark with Salman Khan’s unforgettable portrayal of Chulbul Pandey, a fearless, witty, and larger-than-life police officer whose unique style instantly won over audiences.
The film introduced Sonakshi Sinha as Rajjo, featured hit songs, punchy dialogues, and high-voltage action that helped redefine the masala cinema era.
The success paved the way for Dabangg 2 in 2012, directed by Arbaaz Khan, who expanded the film’s universe and strengthened Chulbul Pandey’s status as one of Bollywood’s most iconic characters.
In 2019, Prabhu Deva directed Dabangg 3, which explored Chulbul’s early life and gave fans a deeper look into the experiences that shaped his personality and attitude.
Even years after its last release, the franchise remains deeply loved, with fans consistently expressing their desire to see Chulbul Pandey return to the big screen.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan continues to stay busy with various commitments. He is currently hosting Bigg Boss 19, maintaining his longstanding presence on the popular reality show.
On the film front, he was last seen in A.R. Murugadoss’s action drama Sikandar, where he displayed his command over commercial cinema.
Up next, Salman will star in Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Based on the 2020 India-China conflict in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley, the film aims to showcase the bravery and resilience of the Indian Army.
It is slated for a 2026 release and is expected to be one of Salman’s most intense and patriotic portrayals.
With Dabangg 4 officially in development and multiple major projects lined up, Salman Khan’s fans have plenty to look forward to in the coming years.
